Carey Parker, MS (She/Her)

Carey began her academic journey at the University of Oregon with a degree in psychology and minors in ethics and global health. Driven by her interests in research, she later completed a master's in translational neuroscience at the University of Oregon, publishing her own research with a focus on accessibility for students with ASD and empowerment of the ASD community. She is again on her way to completing an additional master's in clinical counseling through Adams State University. Carey is driven by her strong morals, which have driven her passions in neuroscience and psychology within topics of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Through these topics, she hopes to better support her community and strive to create a safe and collaborative environment for all. Carey is dedicated to promoting rapport and trust with clients to allow for the most effective care. Outside of the Lighthouse, Carey enjoys spending time with friends and family through a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, rock climbing, and snowshoeing. She loves to enjoy the great outdoors with great company.
